[천지일보=이솜 기자] BTS is making a new history around the world, becoming the first South Korean singer to enter British Gamble.
BTS held its solo concert "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF" at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at London's Wembley Stadium, the BBC reported.
Even the weather seemed to welcome BTS, and from the early hours, the sky continued to be sunny, with the nearby Wembley Stadium drawing crowds. About 60,000 fans packed the concert hall cheered for BTS members even before the start, the BBC explained.
When BTS appeared on stage right after the opening video at 7:35 p.m., Wembley turned into a crucible of enthusiasm. BTS sang "Dionysus" and "Not Today" as the opening stages, and also performed hit songs such as "Poetry for the Small Things," "Fuck," "Firebird," "Ithrone," "Ice Love," "Fake Love," "Jerdy" and "Jerminse."
The BBC reported that BTS sang a total of 24 songs, and some 60,000 fans packed with the Mobley Stadium danced and cheered together, "studdling."
In particular, European fans followed BTS' songs in Korean, not English, and hit songs were accurate to the point where Korean pronunciation was correct, the BBC added.
Through the concert, BTS built new memories by breathing with 60,000 fans.
With the performance, BTS made history in Britain, the home of pop, and K-pop singer's first solo performance at Wembley Stadium sold out all 120,000 tickets for the second performance.
The Wembley performance was broadcast live worldwide through Naver V Live for the first time among BTS' world tour performances, allowing fans who failed to come to Wembley to watch it online. In Japan, Delay Viewing is known to be held at more than 300 theaters.
Meanwhile, BTS will continue to perform at the same venue on July 2. Afterwards, he will continue his European tour of Love Yourself: SPEAK YOURSELF (LOVE YOURSELF) at Stade de France on May 7 and 8.
