[ISSUE in] Shincheonji, condemning the Korean church against Japanophilism & committing crime… “Reborn with truth”

[Daily Cheonji=Reporter Kang Soo Kyung] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle(Shincheonji, chairman Lee Man Hee) voiced to urge self-purification toward Korean churches.

Recently, Shincheonji church criticized in detail about corrupted Korean churches which has been in existence for 130 years, releasing brochure which has the list of pastors who committed crimeentitled ‘Notice of corruption of Christianity in Korea’. Especially, Shincheonji church pointed out that the darker side of history in presiding denominations which is producing fake news.

According to the brochure, the Presbyterian which is the mainstream of CCK(Christian Council of Korea) was Japanophilism and being informant of Japan which trampled on Korea during the Japanese colonial rule. They provided military supplies including battle plane so called ‘Joseon Presbyterian Aircraft’. 

During Japanese colonial rule, the Korean Christian denominations including Presbyterian, Methodist and others decided to worship the Yasukuni Shrine. They abandoned 1, 2 commandments of the Ten Commandments that you do not worship other gods and should not worship idol. In addition, they donated money for combat plane and machine guns and dedicated church bell which is needed for the Japanese invasion war. Even, after all denominations were merged, the church buildings and sites were presented to Japan. In the church, they sang Kimigayo (Japanese National Anthem) and Christian leaders became pro-Japanese main personage who brought young people of Joseon to the Japanese invasion war.  

These pro-Japanese ministers were not eradicated after liberation. Going through Lee Seung Man’s regime and the US military government, they became to dominate Korean Christianity as Christian leaders playing an active role. After independence from Japan, the Korean church has never confessed being pro-Japanese nor repented. 

Shincheonji church affirmed that the Korean Church must be defeated since they are trying to maintain their power and committed all kinds of evil deed and crime.

In addition, Shincheonji church diagnosed the Korean churches as heresy because ▲ they did not believe Jesus’ commandments which includes love, forgiveness and truth and served the Gentiles, ▲ they proclaimed war, ▲ they performed forced conversion program which led murder, and ▲ they distorted the word of God’s promise and made up lies and planted the seed of lies in the hearts of church members.

Also, Shincheonji church criticized that the Korean churches are anti-national, anti-social and anti-peace organization for the reason which includes having mega-sized national flag thrown out that people from all walks of life had participated in, having the monument of declaration wishing peaceful reunification pulled out and interfering volunteer work and memorial day events.

In addition, Shincheonji church pointed out that Christian association is anti-religious organization since they bribed voters for the chairman and they sold pastor license.

Shincheonji church emphasized that "The Christian members who belonged to CCK (Christian Council of Korea) have separated from pastors who taught lies as described in II Corinthians 6:14-18. You need to reborn with true word. You need follow the scripture which is‘if you know the truth, the truth will set you free’."

Shincheonji church also commented on fake news spreading around conservative Protestantism, saying "The main distribution channels of fake news are blogs and YouTube channers. But the real distributers to spread fake news more widely are Christian media".Shincheonji church explained that "This is the fact that some Christian media have cited various false information to publish. And, without checking the fact nor verifying information, it is released in public. 200 objection and correction reports made by CBS, a leading Christian journalist, proves everything.

Regarding recent controversy which is Shincheonji church applying for construction permit in Joong Ang Dong, Gwacheon in Gyeonggi-do province, Shincheonji church affirmed that "Applying for construction permit is not for building a temple nor a church. The complaints of pastors are a lie. Shincheonji church is trying to build a business facility."

As for the cause of fake news produced massively, Shincheonji church analyzed that "the Korean Christian community has stopped growing for last 10 years. When experiencing sudden decease in the Korean Christian community, in order to unite members of churches, they are producing fake news and framing Shincheonji church to frighten people. And, this causes deceiving and damaging the people of the Republic of Korea."

Shincheonji church emphasized that "Shincheonji church is the new kingdom and the new nation which is promised and achieved according to the 'New Testament Revelation'. As Revelation 5:9-10 and Revelation 1:5-6, Shincheonji church is the nation which became free from sin by blood of Jesus and holy family who is reborn with the seed of God."

On the other hand, Shincheonji church warned that "CCK (Christian Council of Korea) is the first heaven and the first earth(Rev. 6, Rev. 21:1) which is aging and becoming obsolete. The pastors who belongs to CCK are committing all kinds of crime and corrupted. They are reborn with the seed of lies and the son of sin. This is the reason why they are the worst cult among heresies. The person who believes their words will become corrupted and sinned."
